Japanese singer-songwriter brings refreshed live house experience, new setlist as well as expanded band to Zepp KL this August

Japanese singer-songwriter Eve is set to return to Malaysia this August as part of his highly anticipated Zepp Tour 2026γ€Œε»»εΈ°γ€, marking his first live house tour in seven years.

The acclaimed composer will perform at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on Aug 8 and 9, following overwhelming demand after his sold-out Eve Asia Tour 2024 performance in Malaysia.

Known for his emotionally charged storytelling, genre-blending sound and globally recognised anime theme songs, Eve has built a strong international following through hits that combine J-pop, J-rock and cinematic soundscapes.

His tour has already seen all domestic shows across five Japanese cities sell out, with Kuala Lumpur and Taipei added as newly announced overseas stops.

Refreshed concert experience

Unlike his previous Malaysian performance, Eve’s upcoming return will feature a live house format designed to create a more immersive and dynamic concert experience.

Fans can expect customised audio and lighting effects, upgraded stage machinery, an expanded live band featuring a saxophonist and an entirely new setlist that blends fan favourites with lesser-known tracks.

The two-night schedule in Kuala Lumpur is expected to accommodate stronger regional demand while offering audiences a more intimate yet high-energy performance setting.

Eve shared since his last visit to Malaysia, he has released more music and evolved further as an artist, adding that the continued support of Malaysian fans has made his return possible.

Ticket sales begin May 9

Tickets will be available exclusively through BookMyShow beginning May 9 at 11am, with prices ranging from RM398 to RM568, while the Box Suite seated package is priced at RM4,600 for up to eight people.

Growing global momentum

Eve’s continued rise reflects the expanding global influence of Japanese music, particularly among anime and contemporary pop culture audiences.

With major theme songs tied to globally popular anime franchises such as Kaikai Kitan for the famous Jujutsu Kaisen and Fight Song for the 12th ending theme for the anime series Chainsaw Man, Eve has become one of Japan’s most distinctive modern music exports.
